... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 9 am MST
Wednesday...

* locations include the cities of... Aspen... Vail... Snowmass.

* Timing... periods of snow will continue through Tuesday night.

* Snow accumulation... 6 to 12 inches with locally higher amounts
over the higher terrain of The Flat Tops and park ranges.

* Winds... southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph shifting
to the northwest and decreasing tonight.

* Impacts... mountain roadways will be snow packed with winter
driving conditions continuing through the middle of the week.
Visibilities will be reduced to under a half mile at times
during the heaviest snowfall.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and/or
blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
