... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 6 PM this evening
to noon MDT Wednesday...

* timing... rain will change to snow this evening, and become
heavy at times overnight. Snowfall will then diminish
Wednesday morning.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 12 inches, with the heaviest amounts
likely over the higher terrain west of Interstate 25.

* Wind/visibility... heavy snowfall and north winds to 25 mph
will reduce visibilities to less than a half mile at times.

* Impacts... roads will become slushy or snowpacked during the
period of heaviest snow late Tuesday night into Wednesday
morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow...
sleet... and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
