northeastern Anderson... Douglas and northern Osage counties until 645
am CDT...

At 553 am CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Easton to 3 miles south of Lecompton to 3
miles northwest of Burlingame. Movement was east at 55 mph.

Dime size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
southeast Topeka, Lawrence, Ottawa, Baldwin City, Carbondale, Valley
Falls, Oskaloosa, Tecumseh, Eudora, Perry, McLouth and Scranton.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 35 between mile markers 172 and 198.
Interstate 70 near mile marker 355.
Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 159 and 205.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
