Monday afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a high
wind watch... which is in effect from late Sunday night through
Monday afternoon.

* Winds... east 30 to 35 mph with the potential for gusts up to 60
mph.

* Timing... the strongest winds are most likely to occur late
Sunday night through early Monday afternoon.

* Impacts... potential for downed trees and power lines. Scattered
to numerous power outages are possible. Travel could be
difficult for high profile vehicles.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph... or gusts of
58 mph or stronger may occur. Continue to monitor the latest
forecasts.

watch... which is in effect from late Sunday night through Monday
afternoon. The gale watch has been cancelled.

* Location... the coastal ocean waters of southern New Jersey and
Delaware and Delaware Bay.

* Winds... east 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 50 kt.

* Seas... 10 to 15 feet.

* Timing... winds increase late Sunday night... and then the
strongest winds are expected on Monday... possibly lingering
into Monday night.

A storm watch is issued when the risk of storm force winds of
48 to 63 knots has significantly increased... but the specific
