* until 230 am EDT.

* At 1125 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain
moving through the area, with additional heavy rain lined up to
the west and ready to move across ther area. Torrential rainfall
rates in excess of 2 inches per hour are likely.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Covington, Independence, Erlanger, Alexandria, Elsmere, Williamstown,
Walton, Falmouth, Claryville, Crittenden, Felicity, Butler, Ryland
Heights, Mentor, Moscow, Neville, California, Chilo, Browning Corner
and Visalia.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

... Flash Flood Watch in effect through Sunday morning...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of southeast Indiana, Kentucky,
and southwest Ohio, including the following areas, in
southeast Indiana, Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland. In
Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant,
Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton, and Robertson. In
southwest Ohio, Adams, Brown, Clermont, Hamilton, and Scioto.

* Through Sunday morning

* ongoing thunderstorms across far southern Ohio, southeast
Indiana and northern Kentucky will be joined by more storms off
to the west. Multiple waves of storms with torrential rainfall
rates are possible overnight.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas,
and be careful when approaching Highway dips and underpasses.
