... Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until midnight EDT
tonight...

* tidal anomaly... around 2 feet above normal.

* Timing... around high tide through tonight. Coastal flooding
will persist through the weekend at least at Alexandria.

* Expected impacts... minor inundation of low lying shoreline. In
Old Town Alexandria... water will reach the intersection of
King Street and Union street within a couple hours of high
tide.
