western Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia...

* at 937 am EDT... Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that 3 to 5 inches of rain has fallen over the area. Larger creeks
and streams are particularly at risk. Flooding was already
occurring along portions of the Shavers Fork.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Elkins... Mill Creek... Dailey... Mingo... Beverly... Durbin...
Womelsdorf (coalton)... Huttonsville... cheat Bridge... Valley head...
Ellamore and Arbovale.

southeastern Pocahontas County in northeastern West Virginia...

* until 1145 am EDT

* at 844 am EDT... Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
that 3 to 7 inches of rain has fallen over the area. Flooding was
already occurring in the frost area with some roads closed.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dunmore... frost and Minnehaha Springs.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around... don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
