... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 11 am this morning to
10 PM PST this evening...

* timing... from midday through this evening.

* Winds... southerly wind gusts from 40 to 50 mph... strongest
near the coast and in the coastal hills of Marin and Sonoma.

possible. Driving of high profile vehicles will be impacted as

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Gale Warning
Issued: 8:29 AM PST Jan. 18, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Gale Warning now in effect until 4 am PST Thursday...
... Small Craft Advisory is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in San Francisco has cancelled the
Small Craft Advisory.

* Winds: southerly winds increasing to 25 to 35 kt. Gusts to 50
kt in the evening.

* Waves: combined seas 10 to 14 ft.

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or

experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
Harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
