... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 400 PM CDT for
northern Smith... southeastern Sumner... Trousdale... northeastern
Wilson and southeastern Macon counties...

At 217 PM CDT... local law enforcement reported flash flooding
continues across the warned area. Several roads were flooded in
northern Wilson County including block hunter's point Pike... Highway
231 north... and old Hunters Point Pike. Radar estimates one to three
inches of rain have fallen today... and flash flooding is expected to
continue.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lebanon... Carthage... Hartsville... South Carthage... Dickerson chapel
Recreation Area... Dixon Springs and Pleasant Shade.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around... don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* Flood Warning for...
northeastern Sumner County in middle Tennessee...
northwestern Trousdale County in middle Tennessee...
Macon County in middle Tennessee...

* until 400 PM CDT

* at 154 PM CDT... emergency management officials and the public
reported flooding continues across eastern Sumner County and
southwest Macon County. Although rain has ended across the warning
area... radar estimates one to four inches of rain have fallen
today. Some areas and roads will continue to experience flooding
for a couple more hours until waters recede.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Gallatin... Lafayette... Westmoreland... Red Boiling Springs...
Bethpage and Bledsoe creek State Park.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around... don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
