... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am MDT
Saturday...

* affected area... southwest Utah.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 5 inches except 4 to 8 inches along
the I-15 corridor.

* Timing... periods of rain and snow this afternoon will change to
snow this evening, becoming more widespread and heavy at times
overnight. The will continue Friday into Friday night before
diminishing Saturday morning, although rain may mix in with snow
at times.

* Snow levels... near 7500 feet late this afternoon falling to near
5500 feet overnight, then rising at times to around 6000 feet
Friday into Saturday morning.

* Impacts... winter driving conditions can be expected across this
area, particularly along I-15 in southwest Utah.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means that significant
accumulations of snow are expected or occurring. Driving
conditions may be hazardous. Use caution. Keep a winter storm
survival kit in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
