The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
southwestern Mobile County in southwestern Alabama...

* until 245 PM CDT Monday

* at 840 am CDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms
producing very heavy rain over far southern Mobile County. 3 to 5
inches of rain is estimated have already fallen and additional
thunderstorms will continue to train over these locations over the
next 1 to 2 hours. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
southern Grand Bay, Bayou La Batre, Coden and Alabama Port.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
