... High rip current risk remains in effect through Wednesday
evening...

* surf... 3 to 5 feet.

* Timing... through Wednesday.

* Impacts... frequent life-threatening rip currents are expected.
The surf is dangerous for all levels of swimmers.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

There is a high risk of rip currents. Rip currents are life-
threatening to anyone entering the surf. Swim near a lifeguard.
If caught in a rip current remain calm. Don't fight the current.
Swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape,
face the shore and call or wave for help. If tired, float or
tread water until out of the rip current.

southeastern Baldwin County Alabama... southwestern Santa Rosa and
southeastern Escambia counties in Florida until 315 am CDT...

At 235 am CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Elberta, or
near Orange Beach, moving northeast at 40 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Pensacola, Ferry Pass, Brent, West Pensacola, Ensley, Warrington,
Gonzalez, Foley, Gulf Breeze, Orange Beach, Goulding, Lillian, Myrtle
Grove, Oriole Beach, Perdido Beach, Elberta, Pensacola Beach and
Floridatown.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
