The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a

* special marine warning for...
coastal waters from Apalachicola to Destin FL out 20 nm...
waters from Apalachicola to Destin FL from 20 to 60 nm...

* until 300 PM CST

* at 127 PM CST... severe thunderstorms capable of producing
waterspouts were located along a line extending from near Panama
City Beach to 6 nm east of Okaloosa deep water reef... moving east
at 25 knots.

Hazard... waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats... damage
           vessels... and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all
           on board are in a secure location and wearing life
           jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34
           knots... suddenly higher waves... frequent lightning... and
           heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life
           jackets.

* Locations impacted include...
Panama City Beach.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe Harbor
immediately.

* winds... south 20 to 25 knots today. West 25 to 30 knots with
gusts to 40 knots possible Sunday through Monday.

* Waves/seas... 5 to 7 feet today... 10 to 15 feet with occasional
seas up to 19 feet offshore Sunday night and early Monday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners... especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
