Watches & Warnings

Flash Flood Watch
Issued: 2:56 PM CDT Jun. 23, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect tonight...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Kentucky.

* Through tonight

* a cold front coming in from the northwest will join forces
with the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy to produce
widespread rain, possibly heavy.

* The heaviest rainfall is expected during the evening hours and
may cause trouble with rush hour traffic.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
