Watches & Warnings

Areal Flood Warning
Issued: 10:39 PM PDT Jun. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

... A Flood Warning for snowmelt remains in effect until 200 PM PDT
Thursday for northeastern Kings... northwestern Tulare and central
Fresno counties...

At 1030 PM PDT, sections of the Kings River remained in flood.
Although water levels continue to slowly fall, water will remain out
of the Main Channel of the Kings River through Tuesday.

Therefore, flood waters are moving down the Kings River to north of
Hanford and Lemoore. This remains a dangerous situation with the
cold, fast moving water.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
