the Glover river at Glover.
* From late Saturday night to late Sunday night... or until the
warning is cancelled.
* At 8:30 am Friday the stage was 4.9 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early Sunday morning and
continue to rise to near 20.5 feet by Sunday morning. The river
will fall below flood stage by late Sunday morning.

the Little River at Horatio.
* From Sunday afternoon to late Tuesday night... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 8:00 am Friday the stage was 12.9 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Sunday early afternoon and
continue to rise to near 29.5 feet by early Monday morning. The
river will fall below flood stage by late Tuesday morning.

* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Sunday early afternoon and
continue to rise to near 32.0 feet by Tuesday morning.

Issued: 4:25 AM CDT Apr. 29, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect from noon CDT today
through Sunday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of southwest Arkansas and southeast Oklahoma, including
the following areas, in southwest Arkansas, Hempstead, Howard,
Little River, Nevada, and Sevier. In southeast Oklahoma,
McCurtain.

* From 12 PM CDT today through 7 am CDT Sunday morning.

* Showers and thunderstorms will increase across southeast
Oklahoma and southwest Arkansas this afternoon along and ahead
of a slow moving cold front. Locally heavy rainfall will be
possible, with widespread rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches, with
isolated higher amounts in excess of 5 inches, possible across
the watch area later this afternoon through tonight.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
