Special Statement
Issued: 5:20 AM EST Feb. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Patchy dense fog developing across portions of South Florida...

Observations across the area as well as satellite images indicate
low level clouds with embedded fog are developing across portions
of South Florida at this time including most of Miami Dade,
Broward and Palm Beach counties away from the immediate coast, and
much of Collier, Glades and Hendry counties. There is still the
chance that some of this could spread further before sunrise.
Embedded within the fog there could be patches with visibilities
less than 1/2 a mile. Motorists are advised to exercise caution
this morning. The fog and low level clouds should dissipate within
an hour or two after sunrise.
