... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Monday evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of southwest California... including the following
areas... apple and Lucerne valleys... Orange County coastal
areas... Orange County inland areas... Riverside County
mountains... San Bernardino County mountains... San Bernardino
and Riverside County valleys-the inland Empire... San Gorgonio
Pass near Banning and Santa Ana Mountains and foothills.

* Through Monday evening

* heavy rain will occur at times through early evening... mainly
below 6500 feet. Periods of showers... some with heavy rainfall
will follow for tonight through Monday... mainly below 4500
feet. Rainfall rates could locally reach or exceed one inch per
hour. This will bring a risk of flash flooding. Heavy rains over
recent burn scars could result in debris flows and mud slides.
In the mountains... a warmer air mass this afternoon will result
in rising snow levels and melting of snow below 6500 feet which
will increase the risk of flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.





High Wind Warning

... High Wind Warning remains in effect until 6 am PST Monday...

* winds... areas of southwest winds winds strengthening to 20 to 30
with gusts to 45 mph.

* Timing... through tonight.

* Impacts... the winds will make driving difficult... especially
for motorists with high profile vehicles. Watch for broken
tree limbs... downed power lines... and other debris.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
