... Sea breeze collision expected to produce strong to severe storms
from late afternoon through early evening...

At 500 PM... Doppler radar showed an impending collision between the
east and West Coast sea breezes. The collision will likely start
over Volusia County and spread southward across eastern Seminole...
Orange and Osceola counties... to near Lake Okeechobee.

Rapid development of strong to severe storms is expected to result
from this collision... with the activity then moving east to northeast
at 10 to 15 mph toward the coast of Volusia... Brevard... and Indian
River counties.

Wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph... and hail as large as quarter to Golf
Ball size will be possible with the storms that form.

Residents in this area should be alert to the possibility of strong
to severe storms quickly developing between 5:00 this afternoon and
8:00 PM this evening. Listen for any advisories... warnings... and
statements that may be issued... and be prepared to take quick action
to protect life and property.
