* Flood Warning for
the shoal river near Crestview
* from this morning until Sunday morning
* at 9 am Saturday the stage was... 8.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast
* flood stage is 8 feet.
* The river will remain steady around 8.2 feet through this afternoon before
falling this evening. The river will fall below flood stage after midnight tomorrow.
* At 8 feet... minor flooding of low lying areas.

... High rip current risk remains in effect through late tonight...

* rip current impacts... frequent life threatening rip currents
are expected.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

There is a high risk of rip currents. Rip currents are life-
threatening to anyone entering the surf. Swim near a lifeguard.
If caught in a rip current remain calm. Don't fight the current.
Swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. If tired,
float or tread water until out of the rip current.
