... Flood Warning extended until Monday morning for
the Perdido river near Barrineau Park
* until Monday morning.
* At 10 am Friday the stage was 17.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by early Monday morning.
* At 13 feet... river begins to leave its banks at the parking lot of adventures
unlimited. River begins to threaten several permanently parked travel trailers.
* At 17.5 feet... water enters the first floor of adventures unlimited office
building.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Escambia River near century
* until further notice.
* At 10 am Friday the stage was 19.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 19.2 feet by this afternoon then begin
falling.
* At 13 feet... minor overflow of lowlands in the area.
* At 17 feet... considerable flooding of lowlands.
* At 19 feet... low lying pasture will flood. Cattle should be moved to higher
ground.

... High rip current risk remains in effect through Saturday

... Coastal flood advisory has expired...

* surf heights... breakers 3 to 5 feet decreasing to 2 to 4 feet.

* High surf and rip current impacts... the surf will be dangerous
to all swimmers. Frequent life threatening rip currents are
expected. Minor beach erosion is also possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high surf advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in
the advisory area, producing localized beach erosion and
dangerous swimming conditions.

There is a high risk of rip currents. Rip currents are life-
threatening to anyone entering the surf. Swim near a lifeguard.
If caught in a rip current remain calm. Don't fight the current.
Swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help. If tired,
float or tread water until out of the rip current.
