* Flood Advisory for minor flooding in poor drainage areas for...
northwestern St. Johns County in northeastern Florida...
northern Clay County in northeastern Florida...
Duval County in northeastern Florida...

* until 800 am EST

* at 602 am EST... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding. Overflowing poor
drainage areas will result in minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to one inch of rain has already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Jacksonville... Orange Park... Middleburg... Ponte Vedra Beach...
unf... Fruit Cove... mandarin... Arlington... Neptune Beach and Ortega.

Additional rainfall of around one inch is expected over the area.
This additional rain will make minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... urban areas... highways... streets and underpasses
