... Significant weather advisory for eastern Peach... southwestern
Wilkinson... southeastern Bibb... Houston... northwestern Bleckley and
Twiggs counties until 800 PM EDT...

At 736 PM EDT... a line of strong thunderstorms was along a line
extending from Middle Georgia Regional Airport to Warner Robins to
Perry... and moving east at 40 mph.

Hazard... 40 to 50 mph wind... up to penny sized hail... frequent
           cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain.

Impact... expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
           light... unsecured objects. Heavy rain may cause temporary
           street flooding especially in poor drainage areas.

Some locations in the path of these storms include
Macon, Perry, Jeffersonville, Warner Robins, Centerville, Gordon,
Danville, Allentown, Robins Air Force base, Marion, Tarversville,
Meadowdale, Houston Lake, District Path, Skipperton, Cary, Kathleen,
Sand Bed, Bullard and Rutland.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
thunder... you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Motorists
should slow down and be prepared for possible loss of control due to
hydroplaning.
