... Patchy dense fog developing across the region...

Abundant low level moisture combined with light winds has allowed
widespread fog to develop across the midlands and central Savannah
River area. Visibilities continue to fall below 2 miles behind a
weak backdoor front that is pushing westward towards the Savannah
River. Patchy dense fog also being reported with visibilities
dropping to one quarter of a mile at times. Motorists are urged to
use caution while driving this morning. Visibilities should begin
to improve after 9 am.
