* From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through Saturday evening

* the remnants of Tropical Storm Cindy will push eastward
through the weekend. The remnants of the tropical system will

Interstate 20 corridor have received heavy rains within the
last week. Any additional heavy rainfall will create run off,
potentially leading to flooding. Widespread one to two inches
of rainfall are likely as the system interacts with the weak
surface boundary. However, locally higher amounts around 3
inches are possible.

* Flooding in low lying and flood prone areas will still be
possible, especially in urban areas along the Interstate 20
corridor. In addition, creeks, streams and rivers may overflow
their banks.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
