Wind Advisory
Issued: 12:05 AM CDT May. 1, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory in effect until 4 am CDT early this morning...

The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect until 4 am CDT early this morning.

* Timing... until 4 am CDT this morning.

* Winds... southeast to south winds 25 to 35 mph with frequent
gusts near 40 mph and should slowly decrease through 4 am CDT.

* Impacts... the gusty winds could result in the Downing of large
limbs, as well as blowing around loose lawn objects. Travel
will also be difficult at times especially if traveling on
bridges and overpasses as well as east to west oriented
roadways.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 25 to 39 mph or frequent
gusts of 30 to 39 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make
driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.
