... A Tornado Warning remains in effect until 815 PM CDT for
northwestern Galveston... east central Fort Bend... northeastern
Brazoria and southeastern Harris counties...

at 759 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Manvel, moving east at 50 mph. Strong winds
between 60-70 mph can be expected near Manvel.

Hazard... tornado.

Source... radar indicated rotation.

Impact... flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
southern Pasadena, Pearland, League City, Texas City, Friendswood,
Alvin, Dickinson, Santa Fe, southwestern Seabrook, Webster, Manvel,
Clear Lake, Fresno, southern south belt / Ellington, Nassau Bay,
Taylor Lake Village, El Lago, Arcola, Brookside Village and Iowa
Colony.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Take cover now! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
Mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

for eastern Wharton... west central Galveston... central Fort Bend...
Brazoria and east central Matagorda counties...

At 754 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near West Columbia,
moving southeast at 65 mph. Golf Ball size has been reported near
reading Road and FM 762.

Hazard... 70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to Mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

southwestern Pearland, southwestern League City, Sugar Land, Missouri
City, southwestern Friendswood, southeastern Rosenberg, Lake Jackson,
Alvin, Angleton, Stafford, Santa Fe, Richmond, Manvel, West Columbia,

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
