... Significant weather advisory for Seminole... Southern Lake...
northwestern Orange and south central Volusia counties until 745 PM
EDT...

At 639 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lake Mary, moving east at 10 mph. Additional strong thunderstorms
are expected to develop in Southern Lake and northwestern Orange
counties as boundaries come together.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Orlando, Deltona, Sanford, Apopka and Altamonte Springs.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Okeechobee... Indian River... Brevard... southeastern Orange and eastern
Osceola counties until 800 PM EDT...

At 630 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong outflow boundary
over East Orange, east Osceola, and northwest Okeechobee counties
moving east at 10 mph. This boundary will interact with the East
Coast sea breeze, which was positioned over west Brevard, west
Indian River, and northeast Okeechobee counties. Strong
thunderstorms are expected to develop along the intersection and
push back to the coast at 10 to 15 mph.

Dime size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Palm Bay, Melbourne, Titusville, Fort Pierce and Rockledge.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive cloud to ground lightning is expected with these storms.
Lightning can strike many miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle at the first sound of thunder.
