The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for a portion of south Texas... including the
following areas... Bee... Duval... Jim Wells... La Salle... Live
Oak... McMullen and Webb.

* Until 7 am CDT Monday

* rainfall totals of 3 to 5 inches with locally higher amounts
possible.

* Streets... underpasses and streams will have the greatest
impact from the heavy rainfall. Motorists need to take extra
precautions... especially at night when flooding is harder to
detect. Never drive into a Road or street covered in water.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
