... A Tornado Warning remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
southeastern Monongalia... central Preston and southeastern Marion
counties...

at 740 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Winfield, or 8 miles east of Fairmont, moving east
at 45 mph.

Hazard... tornado.

Source... radar indicated rotation.

Impact... flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
Kingwood around 800 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Valley
Point, Masontown, Brandonville, Gladesville, Albright, Reedsville,
Browns Chapel, Bruceton Mills and Laurel Run.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 68 in West Virginia near mile marker 19, and between
mile markers 22 and 25.

Interstate 79 in West Virginia between mile markers 140 and 147.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Take cover now! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
Mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 2 am EDT Saturday...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of western Maryland, east central Ohio, southwestern Pennsylvania,
and northern West Virginia.

* Until 2 am EDT Saturday

* rainfall amounts up to 2.5 inches are possible due to the
remnants of Cindy and an approaching cold front. Rainfall
amounts could be upwards of 4 inches if a location experiences
a series of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

* Flooded roads along with streams and creeks out of their banks
are likely where the heaviest rainfall occurs.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
