... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am EST Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a dense fog
advisory, which is in effect until 10 am EST Thursday.

* Locations... from the New River and Greenbrier valleys eastward
into the Piedmont of Virginia and North Carolina.

* Hazards... dense fog.

* Visibilities... of a quarter mile or less.

* Timing... through Thursday morning.

* Impacts... poor visibility, increasing difficultly to see the
Highway.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
