Coastal Flood Advisory
Issued: 5:17 AM EDT May. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Coastal flood advisory remains in effect until 10 am EDT this
morning...

* tidal departure... 1.2 feet above normal.

* Timing... around the time of high tide early Friday morning...
which will occur at 6:23 am.

* Impacts... in North Beach... water will begin to reach backyards
near 9th street and approach the top of the storm drains near
the Road. Water will also pond in the parking lot of the
Annapolis city dock. Minor shoreline inundation is possible
elsewhere.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.

Forecast tides are referenced to mean lower low water
(mllw) and mean higher high water (mhhw) unless
otherwise noted. Time of high total tide is
approximate to nearest hour. Total tide combines the
normal tide and departure from normal. Flood impact
is based on the total tide and waves where applicable.
