... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 7 PM EST this
evening...

* locations... Pike and Wayne counties in northeast Pennsylvania
and Sullivan, Delaware, and Otsego counties in central New York.

* Hazard types... periods of light snow mixed with rain, sleet, and
freezing rain.

* Accumulations... additional snow accumulation of less than an
inch with up to a few hundredths of an inch of additional ice
accretion.

* Timing... periods of mainly light snow mixed at times with sleet,
freezing rain, and rain continue this this afternoon before
diminishing early this evening.

* Impacts... the snow and ice will create slippery roads and
treacherous travel, especially over the higher terrain areas.

* Winds... northwest 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet...
or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
