... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from noon Sunday to noon
Monday...

The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for moderate snow... which is in effect from noon
Sunday to noon Monday.

* Locations... all of central New York and Bradford, Susquehanna,
and northern Wayne counties in northeast Pennsylvania.

* Hazard types... moderate snow.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches.

* Timing... light snow moves in Sunday afternoon from southwest to
northeast. Snow will continue most of Sunday night when most of
the snow accumulation will be. The snow could mix with rain
late Sunday night and Monday morning before ending.

* Impacts... the moderate snow will create snow covered roads.

* Winds... south 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... from the middle 20s to lower 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause
travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited
visibilities, and use caution while driving.
