... Pockets of freezing rain early this morning...

An area of light rain mixed with snow is moving across portions of
the capital region, eastern Greene and western Columbia counties,
the central and northern Taconics, and Berkshires early this
morning. This light precipitation will expand northward into the
northern reaches of the capital region and Mohawk Valley between 4
am and 6 am. Temperatures are hovering a few degrees below
freezing in some locations, and some spotty or pockets of freezing
rain is possible.

Untreated surfaces will become slippery on roads and sidewalks.
Motorists out early this morning should drive with caution and be
prepared for some slick surfaces and changing Road conditions.
Temperatures will warm into the mid 30s to lower 40s quickly this
morning.
