... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10 PM this evening to
1 PM EST Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for a wintry mix... which is in effect from 10 PM this
evening to 1 PM EST Tuesday.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet... and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow and sleet accumulation of up to 2
inches... along with around a trace of ice.

* Timing... precipitation will begin this evening as snow. Late
this evening or overnight snow will mix with and change to sleet
and freezing rain. Precipitation will continue into Tuesday.

* Impacts... significant amounts of wintry precipitation will lead
to slippery roads and hazardous travel conditions.

* Winds... northeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* Temperatures... in the low 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.

* Coastal flooding... minor splashover.

* Timing... near the time of high tide... around 830 am Tuesday.

* Impacts... minor splashover and erosion is possible.

... Storm Warning remains in effect until 11 am EST Tuesday...

* winds... northeast 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 50 kt.

* Seas... 21 to 26 feet.

occuring. Recreational boaters should remain in port... or take
