... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 4 PM this
afternoon to 1 PM EST Tuesday...

* hazard types... snow... sleet... and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow and sleet accumulation of 3 to 6
inches... along with around a tenth of an inch of ice.

* Timing... precipitation will begin this afternoon with some ocean
effect snow showers. The main area of precipitation will begin
this evening and continue into Tuesday.

* Impacts... significant amounts of wintry precipitation may lead
to slippery roads and hazardous travel conditions.

* Winds... northeast 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph near the
immediate coast.

* Temperatures... in the lower 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
