... Freezing Rain Advisory now in effect until 10 PM EST this
evening...

* ice accumulations... around a tenth of an inch of ice.

* Hazard types... sleet and freezing rain.

* Timing... a mixture of snow... sleet... and freezing rain is
expected to continue today... with temperatures eventually
rising above freezing late this afternoon or evening. This will
change precipitation over to plain rain.

* Impacts... significant amounts of wintry precipitation will
lead to slippery roads and hazardous travel conditions. Power
outages possible due to ice on branches and power lines.

* Winds... northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
