Special Statement
Issued: 3:49 AM EDT Sep. 25, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Elevated fire weather risk today along with more frost
possible tonight...

Ongoing drought conditions throughout Massachusetts will couple
with low relative humidity values /less than 30 percent/ and gusty
northwesterly winds to result in an elevated fire risk on Sunday.
Highest while some did receive minimal rainfall last night... most
did not receive much if any... therefore very dry conditions
continue throughout the state.

Overnight into Monday morning... temperatures will drop into the
low-upper 30s across much of the region. This will lead to another
night of frost potential. Sensitive vegetation should be covered
or brought inside if possible... stay tuned for potential frost or
freeze headlines through the day.
