... Line of showers and isolated thunderstorms moving into eastern
Massachusetts...

At 904 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of heavy showers
and isolated thunderstorms extending from near Lawrence
southwestward to Harvard to near Auburn. Movement was east at 35 mph.

Gusty winds of 30 to 40 mph will accompany this line. Wind gusts so
far have included 41 mph at Ware, 36 mph at Worcester, and 33 mph
at Fitchburg.

Locations impacted include...
Boston, Worcester, Lowell, Cambridge, Lynn, Newton, Lawrence,
Somerville, Framingham, Waltham, Malden, Brookline, Medford, Peabody,
Methuen, Arlington, Everett, Billerica, Beverly and Marlborough.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Get indoors when these storms approach. Winds may be strong enough to
produce minor damage, such as a few downed branches.
