Special Statement
Issued: 9:59 AM EDT Mar. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Spotty sleet or freezing rain possible through noon...

Temperatures across western and central Massachusetts as well as
northern Connecticut remain around freezing this morning as a line
of precipitation approaches from the southwest. Already reports
have been received upstream of our area across the Hudson River
valley region of New York of a wintry mix occurring as of 10 am.

Temperatures will continue to gradually rise above freezing into
the midday and early afternoon hours. Until that happens, spotty
sleet or freezing rain will be possible.

If traveling this morning be aware of the possibility for hazardous
travel conditions, particularly on the 84, 90 and 91 thoroughfares.
The impact may seem minimal, however it is best to remain aware
of the potential threat.
