... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 8 am PST
Thursday...
... Ice Storm Warning is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has cancelled the Ice
Storm Warning. While freezing rain will remain possible south of
Lake Chelan tonight... most of the precipitation will fall as snow.

* Locations... Leavenworth, Mazama, Twisp, Winthrop, Stehekin,
Conconully, Blewett Pass, and Loup Loup pass.

* Ice accumulations... up to an additional one quarter of an
inch south of Lake Chelan.

* Snow accumulations... an additional 5 to 10 inches of snow in the
valleys and in the mountains an additional 9 to 17 inches.

* Timing... moderate to heavy snow will continue into Wednesday
morning with freezing rain possible south of Lake Chelan.

* Impacts... heavy snow will result in snow covered roads and
hazardous travel. Areas where freezing rain occurs while lead to
very icy roadways and sidewalks.
