... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 am PST
Saturday for the Upper Hood River Valley... the central Columbia
River gorge and the South Washington Cascades...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow remains in effect until 4
am PST Saturday.

* Timing... snow at times continuing through tonight.

* Snow accumulations... an additional 4 to 8 inches of snow are
expected through tonight... bringing totals since Thursday up
to 10 to 18 inches.

* Impacts... snow will make travel extremely difficult along
Interstate 84 and Highway 14 as well as in the South
Washington Cascades.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight... food...
