... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM MDT this
evening...
... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Friday evening
through late Saturday night...

* location... eastern sawatch and western Mosquito Mountain
ranges above 11000 feet.

* Cause and timing... a quick moving upper storm system will
bring snow to the region through today with another storm
system producing additional accumulating snow and gusty winds
from Friday evening into Saturday night.

* Snow accumulation... 3 to 7 inches with locally higher snow
amounts on west facing slopes today with additional snow
accumulations in excess of 8 inches possible from Friday
evening into Saturday night.

* Wind... west 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph today, then
north to northeast winds 10 to 20 mph with locally higher wind
gusts from Friday evening into Saturday night.

* Impact... travel will be hazardous due to blowing snow, poor
visibilities and icy or snow covered roads.
