Special Statement
Issued: 7:54 AM CST Feb. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Areas of fog developing this morning...

Areas of fog... locally dense... has developed in southeast
Iowa... northeast Missouri and western Illinois this morning.
Visibilities have been reduced to less than 1/4 mile at some
locations.

The fog will continue for most of the morning until low pressure
pushes off to the northeast and winds become northwest and increase.

Motorists should drive with extra caution and allow additional
travel time. Use low beams, reduce speed, and allow for plenty of
room between you and other cars.
