Special Weather Statement issued by Environment.  12:55 PM ADT Wednesday 29 March 2017.
Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected or occurring in some locations.

An intensifying low pressure system south of Nova Scotia will move to lie southeast of Cape Breton Thursday morning. The low will then move slowly eastward. Strong northerly winds will develop overnight and persist Thursday and Thursday night giving very poor visibilities in blowing snow.

Blowing snow advisories are issued when winds are expected to create blowing snow giving poor visibility to 800 metres or less for at least 3 hours.
