Special Weather Statement
Issued: Environment Canada
Special Weather Statement issued by Environment. 10:45 AM EDT Thursday 30 March 2017.
Rain-snow mix changing to rain then winding down Friday night.

Precipitation associated with an approaching weather system is expected to reach the Toronto - Barrie corridor later this afternoon. It will likely begin as some snow mixed with rain, then change over to rain by this evening. Periods of rain will then continue through much of Friday before tapering off Friday night. Total rainfall amounts in the 15 to 25 mm range are possible by Friday night.

There is also a risk of freezing rain this evening in a few areas before the mixed precipitation changes to rain.

Caution is advised for travel due to potentially slippery roads prior to the changeover to rain.
