* Flood Advisory for...
southeastern Kitsap County in northwestern Washington...
southern Mason County in northwestern Washington...
southwestern Snohomish County in west central Washington...
northwestern Pierce County in west central Washington...
western King County in west central Washington...
northwestern Thurston County in west central Washington...

* until 1015 am PST Wednesday

* at 413 PM PST, satellite and Doppler radar indicate heavy rain
moving into central portions of western Washington. This heavy
rain will likely cause some minor flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue, Kent, Federal Way, Auburn, Olympia,
Edmonds, Bremerton, Puyallup, Shelton, Belfair, Renton, Redmond,
Kirkland, Sammamish, Lacey, Lynnwood, Bothell and Burien.

Additional rainfall of 2 to 3 inches is expected in the area. This
additional rain will cause minor flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
