Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 1:05 PM CST Dec. 7, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...

* timing... reduced visibility in open areas due to blowing snow
and scattered snow showers... diminishing around 6 PM.

* Snow and ice accumulations... additional fluffy snow
accumulations of up to 1 inch are expected.

* Winds / visibilities... winds gusting as high as 45 mph will
cause areas of blowing and drifting snow... especially in open
areas. The lowest visibility will be over the Devils Lake basin
where visibility will be at or below 1/2 mile with near white
out conditions possible in open areas.

* Impacts... plan on slippery Road conditions and low visibility... during
the evening commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving. The latest Road conditions for the state you are calling
from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
