... Lake effect snow warning remains in effect until noon EST
Saturday...

* snow accumulations... 8 to 12 inches with localized amounts
over a foot across the far northwest snowbelt.

* Timing... snow showers will continue heavy at times through
Saturday morning.

* Impacts... hazardous travel due to snow covered roads and rapid
changes in visibility. Gusty winds from the west-northwest
will result in blowing and drifting snow. Longer commute
times. Isolated power outages possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reminds motorists
to adjust speeds based on driving conditions and to take it slow
in ice and snow.
